Already have CCTV, RFID, or access control from us? We can build the dashboard or portal that reads from it.
Questions
Before you ask
Does USTS build custom software, or only install hardware?
Both. Alongside CCTV, RFID, networking, and access control installation, USTS runs an in-house software team in Muscat that builds web applications, mobile apps, dashboards, portals, and custom integrations. Many projects combine the two — for example an RFID installation delivered together with the stock portal that reads from it.
How much does software development cost in Oman?
Cost depends on scope rather than a fixed price list. A focused internal tool or corporate website typically starts in the low thousands of Omani rials, while a multi-user platform with integrations, mobile apps, and ongoing support runs considerably higher. We issue a written scope and fixed estimate after discovery, so you are not signing an open-ended hourly commitment.
What technologies does your development team use?
Our standard stack is React and Next.js with TypeScript on the front end, Node.js for APIs, PostgreSQL or MongoDB for data, and deployment to AWS or Azure with CI/CD pipelines. We select against what a client already runs rather than forcing every project onto the same tooling.
Do you develop mobile apps for both iOS and Android?
Yes. We build cross-platform applications that ship to both the App Store and Google Play from one codebase, which keeps build and maintenance costs down. Where a project genuinely needs platform-specific capability, we scope that explicitly during discovery.
Can you integrate new software with our existing ERP or accounting system?
Yes. Integration work is a large share of what we do — connecting new applications to existing ERP, accounting, HR, and inventory platforms through their APIs, or building middleware where no API exists. We confirm integration feasibility during discovery, before the project is committed.
Who owns the code once the project is finished?
You do. Source code, repositories, and cloud infrastructure accounts are transferred to the client at handover. You are free to continue with our support agreement or take the project in-house, and nothing is locked behind a proprietary USTS platform.
