AM or RF?

The antennas must match the tags and labels used in the store. AM generally copes better with metal and foil packaging and wider aisles; RF labels are typically lower cost.

How wide an entrance can one pair cover?

Detection width depends on the antenna model and tag type. Entrance width is measured during survey to decide the number of pedestals.

Can the antenna also read RFID?

Some models combine AM EAS and UHF RFID in one pedestal for stores planning item-level tracking.
